Joyce Marie Gary Edwards

    Joyce Marie Gary Edwards, 73, of Edna, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2019. She was born on Dec. 31, 1945 to Clyde Gary and Narvell Gary Dervin in El Campo.     

She is survived by her daughters, Rosalyn Edwards-Pool, Lura Lanell Edwards-Foster, Joscelyne Edwards-Lotts; and son/nephew, Russell Gary; sister, Janell Gary; 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.     

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Freddie Edwards, sisters, Laverne Flagg and Delores Gary, and a step-sister, Ruthell Butler.     

Funeral services will be Saturday, Dec. 14 at 11 a.m. at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, Edna with the Rev. Garry Roberts officiating.     

Services are under the direction of Cook-Butler Funeral Home, Edna, 782-3821.
