Julia Mae Rhoades Walpole

     Julia Mae Walpole, age 94, of La Ward, Texas died April 22, 2021.

    She was born in Nixon, Texas on March 31, 1927 to Frank and Evelyn Rhoades.

    Julia was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church of La Ward.

    Julia had five children, Shirley Hoffman, Dorothy Lange, Richard Walpole, Jim Walpole and Billy Ray Walpole (now deceased).

    She is preceded in death by her husband, William Walpole, her mother and father, and twelve siblings. She had numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

    Graveside services were held in the Marcelina Cemetery in Marcelina, Texas on Saturday, April 24, 2021, with only immediate family in attendance. Reverend Mike Williams of the First United Pentecostal Church of La Ward officiated.
