Maria Lopez de Perez

    Maria Lopez de Perez, of Edna, passed away on November 20, 2018, at the age of 68. She was born on August 15, 1950 to the late Jose Maria Lopez and Maria de Jesus Leyva Lopez.       Maria was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who will be missed dearly.       Maria is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Felipe Perez Sr; sons and wives, Felipe Perez Jr. and Maria Guadalupe Perez, Thomas and Herania Perez, Javier and Alma Perez, Christopher and Nicole Perez, Jose Maria and Rhea Perez, David and Maurixaa Lopez; grandchildren, Uriel and Felipe III,  Michael and Uriel Perez, Javier Jr, Damien and Vanessa Perez, Zaita Perez, Lilliana Perez, Lillian and Leilah Perez; sisters and brother in laws, Maria and Manual Aguilar, Maria Emma Hisquierdo; brothers, Jose Lus Lopez, Jorge Lopez, David Lopez, along with numerous nieces and nephews.     Visitation will be held on Monday, November 26, from 5-6:30 p.m., with a Rosary recited at 6:30 p.m., in the Oaklawn Funeral Home Chapel. Rosary will be recited at 10 a.m., with the Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m., on Tuesday, November 27, in the St. Agnes Catholic Church of Edna. Burial will follow in Edna Latin American Cemetery. Rev. Michael Petering will be officiating.     Pallbearers will be all of Maria’s loving sons.     Arrangements are under the direction of Oaklawn Funeral Home in Edna, 361-782-2221.
