Martha Crabb

    Martha Evelyn Miller Crabb, 84, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 3, 2018. Martha was born on May 26, 1934 in Refugio, Texas to the late Rufus Terry Miller and Gracie Reid Miller. She married Ernest Wayne Crabb on Feb. 7, 1953 in Edna and they were blessed with four children, nine grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.     Martha was preceded in death by her mother, father, and siblings, Terry Miller, Charles Miller, gene Miller, Preston Miller, Selma Munoz, and Addie Bell Lawrence. She was also preceded by two infant grandsons, Steven Wesley Sample Jr. and John Charles Sample.     She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Ernest Wayne Crabb, her children Sherri Utz, Jack Crabb and wife Joy, John Crabb and wife Pam, and Theresa Wilke and husband Trey, as well as her nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.     The family will also be eternally grateful for the love and care shown to her by our friend Shirley “Sissy” Barnes.     Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren.     Visitation will be Tuesday, June 5 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Slavik Funeral Home Chapel in Edna. Funeral services will be held at the Robison Street church of Christ on Wednesday, June 6 at 10 a.m. followed by interment at Memory Gardens of Edna.     Services have been entrusted to Russell Todish of Slavik Funeral Home, 361-782-2152.
