Patricia Thomas

     On October 24, 2024 loving wife, mother, sister and friend Patricia Thomas, passed away at 73 , in Victoria, Texas. She was born January 30, 1951 in Wharton, Texas daughter to Johnnie Mae and Annual Davidson. She is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years, Donald Thomas, their son Andre Thomas, grand-children, Justyce, Lyric, Trinity and Mia, and her siblings Audrey, Evelyn, Johnny, Larry, Arthur and Sheila.

     She earned her BA in Education from Prairie View A&M University, 1971 , followed by her MA in Psychology in 1986. She was a teacher, known for her vibrant personality and ability to effortlessly connect with students, creating strong rapport and meaningful relationships with others. She was deeply passionate about her family, her faith in God and her love for her fashion. She also found joy in writing and directing plays while faithfully serving at her home church.

     The funeral service will be held at Shiloh Baptist Church, located at 412 Erie St., Edna, TX, 77957 on Saturday, November 9th. The viewing will begin at 12:30 p.m., followed by the service at 1 p.m. 

     A graveside service will be held at Memory Gardens of Edna, situated at 1300 N. Kleas St. Edna, TX 77957.

     Patricia Thomas’ memory will be cherished, and she will be deeply missed as she positively influenced, enriched and impacted the lives of many individuals.
