Ray Brundrett

Ray Brundrett, 85, of La Ward,Texas went to be with his Lord on Friday, Feb. 22, 2019 after a long struggle with cancer. Ray was born in San Benito Texas on Jan. 11, 1934.     He was a retired Marine who served in the Korean war, a director for Jackson Electric Cooperative and a director for the Texana Groundwater Conservation District.      Ray is survived by his wife, Janice Brundrett; children, Pamela Bourgeois of Seattle, Wash., Debbie Monie' of Birmingham, Ala., Kimberly Ellis of Loveland, Colo., Robbie Brundrett of Houston, Rodney Brundrett of Mandeville, La. and Regan Brundrett of Mandeville, La.; and six grandchildren.     A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at First Baptist Church of Edna, Saturday, March 9,  at 2 p.m. with family, friends and Pastor Robert Krause officiating.
