Shirley Henrichsen Hubenak
Heaven has received one of God’s good and faithful servants, Shirley Jean Henrichsen Hubenak of Edna, Texas. Shirley went to her true home on Thursday, July 21, 2022, at the age of 86. She was born in Needville, Texas on January 19, 1936, to the late Adolph Henrichsen and Essie Lynn Isbell Henrichsen.
Shirley was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be dearly missed.
Shirley is survived by her daughters, Lori Lundy (Jim) of Bandera, Texas, Patti Broussard (Andy) of Richmond, Texas, Lisa Porche of Edna, Texas, 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Adolph and Essie Lynn Henrichsen, her loving husband of 51 years, Stanley Hubenak, her sister, Gloria Fair, her brother, W.E. (Chic) Henrichsen and her son-in-law, Ty Porche.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Andel, Derek Ozuna, Tate Darilek, T. Ray Porche, Taylor Porche and Jim Lundy.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 29, 2022, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Oaklawn Funeral Home Chapel in Edna, Texas. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at 10 a.m. at Edna Presbyterian Church in Edna, Texas. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made in Shirley’s honor to Edna Presbyterian Church, 502 Apollo Drive, Edna, Texas 77957 and Hospice of South Texas, 605 E. Locust Ave., Victoria, Texas 77901.
