Virginia “Ginger” Stevens Hadley
MORALES: Virginia “Ginger” Stevens Hadley, 76, passed away peacefully on the 5th of March 2024, with her children by her side.
She was born May 9, 1947, in Yoakum, Texas, to the late Hollis and Voylette Stevens of Woodsboro, Texas. Ginger spent most of her childhood in Woodsboro and was an Eagle Class of ’65. Her favorite color was green, showing her love for Woodsboro and the great childhood memories she cherished from that beautiful community. Ginger loved anything that could be done outside. She loved working in her flower and vegetable gardens, camping, fishing, and hunting. Her happy place was being by any river, lake, ocean, or pool. If that was not available just sitting on her porch watching the wildlife and enjoying a good thunderstorm would bring her peace. Anyone who knew her knew that her family was her true joy. She could spend hours just watching and listening to the laughter and bantering of her children and grandchildren. Her sweet, selfless and giving spirit will be truly missed by all who shared even a moment with her.
Ginger was preceded in death by her sisters, Kathryn “Kathy” Buttles and Rebecca “Becky” Anderson; brother, Victor I. Stevens, and granddaughter, Kiera Moore. She is survived by her sister, Joanna Wotipka; husband, Larry Hadley; daughters, Michelle Kleppel, Holly Spangler (John), Shannon “Shay” Florence (Rick), Eddi Darilek (Clinton), and Amanda Russell; sons, Max Moore III (Kim), Don Moore (Kelli), Dana Moore, and Jeremy Hadley (Johanna); 24 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
We will miss you deeply Momma.
