William Wayne Yendrey

     William Wayne Yendrey, of Edna, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 18, 2022, at the age of 76. He was born in Edna, Texas on January 23, 1946, to the late Eugene Lonnie Yendrey and Minnie Lee Nickel Yendrey.

     William was a retired butcher. He was a loving father and brother who will be dearly missed.

     William is survived by his son, John Wayne Yendrey and his wife Jeana Yendrey; granddaughter, Brianna Hendry; grandson, Colby Hendry; his brother, Eugene Lonnie Yendrey, Jr.; and his sisters, Mary Lee Damborsky and Minnie Mae Damborsky.

     He is preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Minnie Yendrey; his wife, Hilda Marie Yendrey; and his sisters, Maggie Damborsky and Shirley Jesseph.

     Pallbearers are Jeff Tipton, Bill Tipton, Gary Damborsky, Glenn Damborsky, Melvin Gerdes, Jeffrey Gerdes, Leonard Yendrey, and Robert Chastain.

     Services will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2022. Viewing/Signing of the register book will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Oaklawn Funeral Home in Edna, Texas. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Edna, Texas.
