After opening district against state ranked Yoakum and Goliad, and holding them in the first half before falling, the Industrial Cobras took their frustration out on the Luling Eagles with a 49-6 victory.

Industrial put together 539 yards of total offense, while only allowing 115 yards.
The Cobras started out a little slow but then exploded halfway through the second quarter. Holding a 14-0 lead with six minutes left until half, Industrial quickly put up two more touchdowns to grab a 28-0 halftime lead. In the third quarter, the Cobras put the game away by increasing their lead to 49-0. Luling did get in the end zone in the fourth quarter but by that point, Industrial already had the game well in hand.
