Cobras Volleyball will play State Semi-Final game at 11 a.m.

The Cobras volleyball team (34-11) will begin their state tournament play today as they face Bushland (46-1) in the state Semi-Final game at 11 a.m. The winner will move on to the State Championship game on Saturday at 11 a.m.

The Cobras are the only team to return to the final four out of last years teams.

Bushland is no stranger to the big stage as they have won four state championships since 2007. Their last was a 4A state championship in 2016. Bushland is also the only team of the four to have ever won a state semi-final game.

Both Van Alstyne (36-4) and Lexington (34-14) will be making their second state tournament appearance.

The Cobras are making their third state tournament appearance and second straight.
