Cowboys brothers will turn Pioneers after graduation

Josh and Dylan Yaws will continue playing baseball as teammates when they move on to Wayland Baptist University after they finish their senior year at Edna High School. The brothers signed their letters of intent to WBU on Jan. 10 at the high school dome gym.
The brothers had offers from Truman College in Missouri and Trinity in San Antonio, among others, but being able to continue playing together at the next level was an added incentive they were unable to pass up.
“I’m excited,” Josh said. “I’m getting to go to college with my brother. Everybody is saying that most people go home when they get home sick but I get to take my family with me. We both had some options, but at Wayland Baptist we both get to go together.”
“We had different offers but I wanted to go somewhere where I knew somebody,” Dylan said. “And we would be rooming together, so I think that will be pretty good.”
