Cowboys stampede Sharks in Bi-District win

    The Edna Cowboys didn’t have any slack in their lines Friday night at their first playoff game against the Palacios Sharks.

    Kenny Haynes and Javonte Seymore started the action by moving the ball down the field and earned the Cowboys a first down. Haynes scored early to give the Cowboys a 7-0 lead and then a touchdown pass was thrown to Ahmad Callis to extend the lead to 14-0.

     Malachi Brigham got in on the action when he picked up a fumble and took it to the end-zone and scored another touchdown for the Cowboys, leaving the score at 20-0 at the end of the first quarter.

    At the start of the second quarter the Sharks scored their first touchdown of the night.
