Edna vs Refugio recap

The Edna Cowboys lost to the Refugio Bobcats 28-21 on Friday night at Cowboy Stadium.
Refugio came out strong in the first quarter scoring 13 points while Edna’s offense struggled to keep the ball.
However, Edna made a comeback early in the second quarter scoring two touchdowns, one on a Tristan Pruitt interception and another on a fumble that was recovered by Kenny Haynes, which gave Edna a 14-13 lead that they took to halftime.
In the third quarter Edna had two fumbles, both of which lead to touchdowns for Refugio and a 2 point conversion.
Refugio lead Edna 28 to 14 at the end of the third quarter.
With 12 seconds left in the fourth quarter Edna’s Ahmad Callis scored a touchdown and ended the game with final score of Refugio 28 and Edna 21.
