J.C. Football Preview

The Industrial Cobras will open district play with a home game against the Van Vleck Leopards. The Cobras will have an open date on Oct 6.

The Cobras (3-0) will enter the game as the 52 ranked team in 3A-D2.

The Leopards (1-1) go in to the game as the 39 ranked team in 3A-D2.

The Edna Cowboys will host Sweeny in their final game before they open district play next week against Yoakum. 

The Cowboys (1-2) are ranked 38 in 3A-D2.

The Bulldogs (1-1) are ranked 26 in 4A-D2.

Both of Edna's losses have been by 7 points. One to East Bernard who is now ranked 5 in 3A-D2 and one to Refugio who is now 3 in 2A-D1. Sweeny's loss was by one point to Bay City who is ranked 9 in 4A-D1.

The Ganado Indians will travel to Louise to face the Hornets in their final predistrict game. The Indians will have an open date on Oct. 6.

The Indians (0-2) enter the game as the 73 ranked team in 2A-D1

The Hornets (0-3) enter the game as the 49 ranked team in 2A-D2. The Hornets have been outscored 159-21 in their three games this season, including a 45-7 loss to Industrial to open the season.

All games begin at 7:30 on Friday night.
