Zach Kolodziejczyk set the tone for the Industrial Cobras last Thursday night when he broke through the line on the opening play of the scrimmage against Ganado for an 80 yard touchdown run. The Cobras moved the ball up and down the field all night, mostly through the run game. The Indians were unable to do a lot offensively but their downfall was dropped passes.
“Tonight is not a good reflection of the progress we’ve made,” Indians head coach Brent Bennett said. “We’ve come a long ways and the kids have been tremendous and obviously we didn’t have our kids prepared tonight and as a coach we made dumb decisions that we wouldn’t make on Friday nights that put our kids in tough situations to see how they would respond. We will go watch film and evaluate it with the kids and then we will go reflect on it after the evaluation. We are excited about where we are at. We’ve got a long ways to go, we’ve just got to show back up tomorrow and get back to the grind.”
